I am currently building a spreadsheet/ customer database from print outs. I have specific information I need from each paper but there are at least 5000 to go through. I know there is a quicker way to do this rather than 1 by 1 but I can't find any programs that seem to help (they make it more complicated if anything) and I'm new to programming so I'm struggling on building my own.
There are 3-4 different forms containing the same information. I'm scanning them in using OCR and attempting to extract the necessary data and input it into a speadsheet.
I considered making multiple conversions for each form and then combining the finished speadsheets into one but the data isn't transferring without also transferring a ridiclious amount of unnecessary data.
Can anyone help point me in the right direction of an easier way to do this??
