mpi - hostfile issue mpirun: Error: unknown option "-f"

mpirun -np 4 -f hostfile ./h

i am getting this error . I have already set the hostfile pathin .bashrc .can ayone please tell where i am doing wrong.

mpirun: Error: unknown option "-f"
Type 'mpirun --help' for usage.
